  • My Wellness Vision

    Wellness is much more than just the opposite of illness. Wellness is the mastery of one's wellbeing- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual- through the practice of behaviors that enhance a healthy mind/body. A successful personal plan for wellness always has at its center a clearly developed vision, and a strong sense of commitment to that vision.

    Develop a Vision for Yourself

    Create a home video in your mind: imagine what you would look and feel like at your ideal level of wellness.

    • How active would you be?
    • What activities would you be doing?
    • How would you feel?
    • How would your lifestyle habits be different than they are now?

    This is your vision for your own wellness. A well thought-out vision should guide you in developing your goals.
